What is Cystic Acne?

Cystic Acne is the most severe type of acne among all. It occurs when the cysts are formed underneath or skin. The formation of cyst is the result of oil, bacteria, and impurities present in our skin.

However, acne can be caused to anyone but cystic acne is something that is caused mainly to oily skin people. It’s also more common among teenagers and adults during hormonal imbalances.

What Causes Cystic Acne?

Acne is caused when the pore in the skin gets clogged with the dead skin cells. While clogging, some of the bacteria also get trapped into your skin, making the area red & swollen.

Cystic occurs when the infection goes deep into our skin and affect our skin by creating a red, tender bump that’s full of pus. It might hurt you or may cause itching, but avoid putting hands on the bump because if the cyst gets bursts, the infection can spread, causing more breakouts. Let us understand some home remedies and precautions that can help us get rid of cystic acne:-

Home Remedies

• Exfoliation: Cleanse the affected area twice in a day and use mild soap and face wash. Do not apply cream or any anti-

biotic without cleaning it.

• Scrubbing: Do scrub, because cleansing is important but avoid doing it harshly, so that it does not irritate the skin. Use skin-friendly scrubs only, that suits your skin.

• Avoid the Touch: Do not pick or squeeze the acne, because it can make it worse. Leave the pimple alone and make sure to treat it with washed hands only.

• Avoid Male-up: Do not apply too much make-up if you have cystic acne. Putting on too much makeup may affect the cystic acne because the ingredient might worsen the acne. Avoid oily and comedogenic formulations rather prefer water-based products. Make sure to remove make-up and wash off the face before going to bed.

• Say NO to sour food: Strictly prohibit the consumption of sour food because they make the cyst even worse making it more red and more swelling appears.

Medication

Cystic acne is more intense and severe to be treated, so it might possible that simple basic treatment won't prevent it. If the cause is not known then you must consult your Dermatologist as he will help you find out the actual cause of the cyst. The cause could be found out easily by a blood test. The type of treatment, whether prescription medication or surgical removal depends upon the cause.

Any treatment requires sufficient time to show its best results. So, you won’t be able to see immediate results by the treatment prescribed by the Dermatologist. This acne needs to be treated from the root level. If we only concentrate on treating the acne on the skin surface, then there is a chance that it will occur again. So, we need to get rid of the cause of forming cystic acne.

Australia whitewashed the Test series against Pakistan

The Pakistan tour of Australia, 2019, just got finished and it ended up with a lot of disappointment for the Pakistan team as they failed to win a single match of the series. The Australian team defeated Pakistan by 2-0 in the 3-match T20I series and now they have whitewashed the visitors in the 2-match Test series by 2-0.

The Australia National Cricket Team is now placed at 2nd spot in the World Test Championship standings with 176 points. The Test series saw David Warner coming back in action at home after his suspension as he smashed a T20I century and a triple century in the Test against Pakistan.

This was the first series for Pakistan National Cricket Team in the World Test Championship and now Sri Lanka will tour Pakistan to play two Test matches and that will be their second series of the WTC.

The no. 1 T20I team is going through a lot as they have won only a single T20I game in the year 2019 out of 10 matches they have played whereas Australia team is unbeaten in the T20I in the year 2019 as they have won 7 matches out of 8 in which 1 match was abandoned due to rain against Pakistan in this series.

The next assignment for the Australian team will start on 12th December as they will tour New Zealand to play 3 Test matches.

Ahead of the Christmas, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on Sunday took to Instagram a picture collage of 12 photos of charitable organisations’ accounts inspired by the 'Twelve Days of Christmas'.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s motive behind the post is to urge people to reflect on those who are in need, lonely, hungry and homeless. The caption of the Instagram post read, “ With the festive holiday season upon us, it’s also a reminder to reflect on those in need – those who may feel lonely, hungry, homeless, or may be experiencing the holidays for the first time without loved ones.

It’s an important time of year to help those around you who may be less fortunate, or who would appreciate even the smallest act of kindness.

Continuing our monthly tradition of highlighting accounts that do good, and inspired by the “Twelve Days of Christmas” - we have selected twelve organisations caring for those in need - especially at this time of year.
